Our site is outgrowing our old host which had 5 GB allowed bandwidth per month. Now we're looking for a new host with (considerably!) more bandwidth at a cheap price. The only customer support our old host had was a simple text forum they checked once a day. That was perfectly ok because their server was running stable and you could RELY on their checking the forums (=response within 24 hours). In other words, we're not so picky, as long as a host isn't a notorious desaster area... ;-)

Anyway, just recently I've made some VERY bad experience with Aletia (excessive downtime, no service response), so NOT signing up for a disaster area doesn't seem to be so easy after all...

At the moment we're considering moving either to Lunarpages or
Totallyhosted. - Any thoughts, suggestions, comments, experiences?

(We also hat IPowerweb, ***** and Infinology on our list, but we removed them because we heard a lot of bad stuff about them...)

Thanks a lot for any kind of feedback!

A good place to start is up top the button labeled search.

Then do a google and see where else they might be mentioned on the web.

I already did that. :) Didn't gather enough solid evidence, though, so now I'm trying to squeeze out some additional information...

I agree with Monte.. just do a search on what you're looking for. The best promo a site can have (good or bad) is by their clients. You may get a few replies from people who know in this thread, but do check out via a search other threads as well. :) I wish you the best of luck!

oh sorry... i seemed to post at the same time you did.. well hmm... if you dont see anything about 'em, and you think it's worth giving it a shot, i'd say try it... just make sure you dont sign up for an extended contract and that they offer a money-back guarantee. :)

You could try http://www.lunarforums.com if you want to talk to other users hosted by Lunarpages.
