I was looking into buying a reseller account, I am still learning things about it but i wanted to ask some questions and hopefully I could get some answered.
1.How long after I start reselling , would I be able to tell if I was truly going to get anything out of my time?(If I put a decent amount of money into it.)
2. How much time do you actually have to put in a day to get good results from your reselling?
3. What exactly would I be doing in my time I am working on my reselling account?
4. How much time does it usually take to see any money?

1. Starting a company takes time. A lot of people expect to see an immediate cash flow, but that isn't how things work. You have to earn your clients, and that takes some time. As long as you are patient, you'll get somewhere.
2. The amount of time you spend each day working with your clients depends on a few things. First, it depends on how decent your provider is - the less downtime you experience, the better. Second, it depends on how demanding your clients are. Some clients tend to break things and come to you for a solution.
3. You would be assisting clients. However, you won't always have a ticket on your support desk. If you keep everything in top-condition, you will have fewer tickets.
4. This depends on how heavily you market your product. If you post your offers at popular web hosting forums, such as WHT, you can expect some clients within weeks of starting your business.

I think John answered all the questions perfectly.
Something to add for question 3, you would spend time for marketing to attract new customers and time for providing support to customers.
