(If this is not in the correct forum, please feel free to move it)

Hello! I was wondering if anyone knew how to give users access to an online vacation autoresponder (maybe forwarder too).

We are using knownhost with cpanel/whm, exim mail (I think), and our users use squirrelmail to access their mail when they do not have their machines with them (otherwise, they almost all use outlook)

Right now, they have to contact me to set up their autoresponder in cPanel.

However, I want them to have access to set up and remove their own autoresponder. I found plugins for squirrelmail, but only one would work with cPanel servers, and it is very dated and does not work with our version of squirrelmail.

We can also use Horde, if you know of a solution via this.

Any help is appreciated!

If you have auto-responders enabled for the cPanel account and that account is set to the x3 theme, all of your email users can login to the webmail interface. On the first screen they see when they login (where they can choose their webmail client), at the bottom of the screen, they will see an icon for creating Auto Responders. This will work regardless of what mail or webmail client they use and whether or not they actually login to check their mail.

Wow. Thank you so much. I had enabled it to load squirrelmail automatically so I never saw that option.

You have no idea how much I've put into finding this! Thanks again!
