IS there anybody who can spend some time explaining how does the reseller hosting works and the budget for this.
Pleae explain it step by step.

Reseller Hosting is where you buy an account then you sell the space from that account, it is then for you to charge your customers for that space.

As for budget it would be better for you to look in the Offers part of the Forum for this as hosts charge different prices.

One thing to keep in mind with a Reseller account is that often you are the "middleman" when it comes to support. Your clients will contact you for support and then you will contact the company that is providing you with a reseller account.

If your reseller company is very quick to respond then this is pretty much a non-issue but if it takes hours to respond, it will make you look bad as your customer only deals with you, and not the company you resell for.

Reseller hosting is basically when you want to resell hosting. You shouldn't hop in the business unless you have the following:
1. A system
2. Billing/cpanel licenses/management tools
3. domain name
4. Support, very important

Expect a total budget of about 1k to start it up.

Apart from what everyone's told you until now, there's also something called as a master reseller hosting. Its basically an add-on for WHM (correct me if I'm wrong) where you can give out 2nd level reseller accounts, which means, the people who buy resellers from you can again resell that hosting.

And if you are serious about getting into hosting business, also do some research on server security and the usage of SSL certificates. You'd never want your customers complaining of a hack attempt, would you? :-)

We use WHMReseller which allow reseller to create sub-reseller accounts
The sub-reseller account (which is a normal cpanel reseller account) can create hosting account only.
