VisiGod 04-22-2008, 05:47 PM any other HDD options for UK4?
what about 12 months prepayment ?
Dougy 04-22-2008, 05:48 PM We prefer not to do twelve month prepayments. We can do no more than three at this time.
What kind of hard drive do you want?
VisiGod 04-22-2008, 05:52 PM so what about 3 months prepayment?
I was thinking in a 120/160 hard drive minimum
Dougy 04-22-2008, 05:56 PM We can arrange a 3 month prepayment, sure.
A 160 GB HDD would be $80 one time. If you're interested, please let me know.
midnightsoftware 04-22-2008, 06:10 PM Hmmm, how can you actually sustain this kind of pricing - for BlueSquare, the power draw for these servers would be more than you're charging.
Dougy 04-22-2008, 06:13 PM I sent you a PM.
silicon2006 04-22-2008, 06:41 PM "Hmmm, how can you actually sustain this kind of pricing - for BlueSquare, the power draw for these servers would be more than you're charging"
I do have the same doubt! How can you quote very low? Is it gimmick or serious? Is it really dedicated or VPS? Any hidden or unsaid or unknown?
I am seriously consider placing an order.
One more, do you accept credit card? It says paypal as I do not have paypal account
Dougy 04-22-2008, 06:55 PM PM sent to you.
ranvik 04-22-2008, 07:02 PM I am also interested in buying one or more servers. But i would really like to know the same as silicon2006 and midnightsoftware. How can you substain this kind of pricing? Etc.
Thank you
Dougy 04-22-2008, 07:03 PM PM sent to you as well.
nitrohosting 04-22-2008, 07:15 PM Dougy,
Where is your support based out of? Do you have your own staff on-site in BlueSquare? If not, who do you use and what's the response time?
Any expiry on the pricing once signed up?
Kris
Dougy 04-22-2008, 07:22 PM Our support is based around the world.
No, we do not have our own staff on-site at bluesquare. FumiEU is the staff that handles it, and sub thirty minutes. Generally sub fifteen minutes, but it can take up to thirty.
GB-Mark 04-22-2008, 10:15 PM how can you afford to offer prices so low? I would like some information? it eems too good to be true.
Dougy 04-22-2008, 10:26 PM Our provider is doing these great prices as a way of clearing out inventory
Does anyone have an IP of an actual server rather than a BlueSquare box?
GB-Mark 04-22-2008, 10:51 PM Hello
whats the catch? come on an xeon that cheap? what kind of support is offered? Do you offer remote reboot? Do you offer cpanel & fantastico? what about b/w overage
Dougy 04-22-2008, 11:00 PM The Xeon's are old hardware, they are not new (the 733's are from the late 1990s). We have 24/7 support.
Remote rebooters are not currently available. cPanel and Fantastico are not supported on these servers, they really aren't meant for it.
GB-Mark 04-22-2008, 11:21 PM ok knew it was to good to be true. do you have any "newer" servers in the uk that support cpanel. I serched your site and only saw us servers
Dougy 04-22-2008, 11:24 PM Not at the moment. We will soon, however.
Dougy 04-23-2008, 12:10 AM We've gotten buried with orders in the last little bit, so there is a pretty big backlog at the moment.

Dougy, there's a 3 months min payment required. So how you managing to sell them for $14.99 a month?

Dawson 04-23-2008, 06:09 AM As the supplier of this, I would like to state this range has been retracted due to the severe negative attitude it seems to have generated.
Please do not make any purchases through HFY, in regards to these models.
These models were supposed to be a tentative possibility at gaining marketshare on behalf of our partner (who we will be announcing at a later date), and in thus doing so - ourselves. We were off-setting a small part of the cost - our partner, the rest.
I would like to say that I'm a little disheartened at the comments that were made on WHTIRC in regards to our company, as a result of Dougy's advert.
n3tw0rk5 04-23-2008, 09:07 AM Mods please close this thread, since the server range is no longer available.
All orders have been refunded and we have covered the paypal fee's, apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Thankyou to those of you who contributed to making this our shortest ever product range.
Dougy 04-23-2008, 10:47 AM Just to clarify, I am employed by HostingForYou, not FumiNET, we just resell from them.

Just to clarify to the WHT'ers here, we have no reseller agreement in place with HFY. Dougy is part of our "affiliate" scheme.
We're currently looking into rewriting our terms to stop allowing the resale of services in mass, under this program.

Can I ask what agreement we have with HFY? As far as I am aware, we have never entered into a reseller/partnership agreement with the afore-mentioned company - and as such, they have never been an authorized reseller of fumiNET Solutions.
I agree that this thread need to be locked, and I'll check the forum shortly. ;)
grandad 04-23-2008, 11:16 AM cPanel option?

Glad it all turned out okay in the end though. :)
