Im getting a box ready for developement and there is no /home partition. Instead when the DC installed they used the default config and put 55gb of the space to the /usr partion.

Now is there a way I can change the 55gb in the /usr to put 53 of that into the /home? Or would I need to have them reinstall with custom partitions?

Thanks!

Typically you would need to reinstall to repartition. Every thing else would be a hack, more than likely.

If you're really set on using /home to home most of your space, you might consider symlinking.

I imagine that you might be able to unount the /usr partition and remount it at /home, though.

Im trying to stay away from a reinstall. So, is there a way you can get CPanel to use /usr/home for calling the files and stuff and not /home?

Is there away to host sites in both /home and /home2 (a second drive) in CPanel?
