Hi, i want to first tell you that your forum is really interesting. Ok, i can't choose the reseller program to take from; hosting24-7.com, JaguarPC, Ventures Online and Atom Host. First, are they reliable?

Hosting24-7 : Good prices, good plans and free to point domains to the main index. But no sub-domains, must prepaid at least 3 months and unlimited transfer. I am a little bit worried about unlimited transfer since if a client takes let's say 50 GIG in one month, really unlimited or have to pay 5$/GIG after that?

JaguarPC : Good plans and prices too but no 3 months contract needed. Also over 10 GIG per plans and sub-domains. But it cost something to point others domains to the main index.

Ventures Online : More plans, better prices, sub-domains etc.

Atom Host : The cheaper but less bandwidth.

What i would like to have is sub-domains, good plans and good bandwidth for resold accounts but also good prices.

Does any of you are reseller or have a site hosted for one of these companies? If so, what do you think of them? Downtimes? Support?

Also, if i live in Canada, do i have to charge taxes to my customers? All or just the canadians?

Thanks you very much,

Eric

Ventures Online is a great company if you are looking for VDI based web hosting, if you want Alabanza I recommend HostingMatters.

I'm not sure about the others, but someone from JaguarPC posts on this forum regularly. He seems very knowledgable. Do a search on this forum on those companies.

For Alabanza based servers there is http://www.coolreseller.com , great prices and bandwidth. However, I have never tried them before. Maybe you can give us a review.

Eric,

I haven't used any of those hosts before, but I can post from what I believe to be the best choice were I in your place. If I was looking for a serious commitment from a host that doesn't grandstand, and provides intelligent replies, and seems commited to their clients, I'd go for JaguarPC. The others I've either never heard of, or wouldn't recommend.

I am with Ventures Online and am very pleased with the services and support. The prices are really good; the reseller program is competitive and Web Host Manager control panel makes it a breeze for reseller accounts.

VO also has their own support forum so customers can work together for specific applications that do not require the opening of a support ticket. :) I have been working with a couple of other resellers and have found this "networking" with other people to be incredibly valuable...

Site speed has been super. Support has been outstanding. Everything has worked very, very nicely and I have been taken care of. :D

Drop me a line at bailey@door-county.net and I'll forward my URLs to you to check out, if you wish to assess server performance/features etc. that way.
