This is my first post here ive been reading these forums for the last few months and i still have a question what is a good cheap server that could run webhosting and one game server server on it at the same?

if anyone knows any good companys please post i need help on this one

What is your budget?

Budget or no budget... Something like a Dell 750 is going to be the lowest end you will want to use. Even that may not work depending on how many sites you're talking about and what's running on those along with the kind of gaming you're talking about. Game servers eat up CPU. You can find some great deals in the offers section on web hosting talk with the RAM and bandwdith you'll need too.

Contact a host and provide details on exactly what it is you'er doing and most sales reps can guide you into the right server.

What exactly is your budget? I think you could find a decent one that can run both for about $80-$100. Do you require a control panel of any kind such as cPanel or DirectAdmin?

well my budget is 50 - 100 a month the lower the better though for now till i cam upgrade all i will be running for now is one cod4 server and small website.

Yikes COD4 not possible with 100 bucks server, sorry but for COD4 you need atleast 2 gigs ram, and a 10k+ rpm hdd, for faster load of maps after 1 map is done. And 100mbps uplink, and not too much bw, but latency will be the most important thing. Also not to mention the location of most players, texas is central but it all depends where your main players are going to be from.

Atleast 120$ will be required to get a decent enough machine ( a dual core will be advised)
