I am a frustrated reseller of Interland. A month ago they raised up their fees, reduced banwidth and support never answers. What web hosting company will you recommend me?

How the heck can Hostrocket offer 10GB of transfer on a $9.95 plan? I know the law of averages applies, but that's pushing it :)

I would like to know the price their paying for their bandwidth, cause that's wild :D

*grin*

yeah I guess they may be using the old "Well no-one will *actually* use that much" rule, but I agree, 10 gig is pushing the bounds of reality. I suppose if they have enough bandwidth laying around spare there's no reason they can't eat that

You guys must not have had your coffee yet. It's easy to promise lots of bandwidth/transfer. It's cpu usage that is often the limiting factor.

It would help to think of transfer and cpu usage as two sisters that do everything together, even dating. You can't go any farther than both will allow. Even if one is permissive, you're not going to get far if the other, acting as a chaperone, says "that's it, buster, you've gone as far as you're going to go!.

Duster,

That's a good point (especially about the sisters :) ). As Host Rocket haven't really been in the bad books though I was just assuming they were going being generous all-round I haven't taken a look at what sort of hardware they're using - come to think of it I don't think I've ever even looked at their site. Must write a post-it note.

Tera-Byte offers 20 gigs of transfer for $9.25 monthly, but no reseller program to speak of.
