OK , I GOT THE SERVER TO WORK

BUT I CAN'T SET THE DOMAIN TO THE IP ADDRESS , ITS ASKING ME FOR A NAME SERVER ? HOW CAN I SET UP MY SERVERS WITH A NAME ?

um, not too sure what your asking, but most likely its ns1.yourdomain.com , ns2.yourdomain.com, ns3.yourdomain.com etc, u get the point, ps - phpBB : Critical Error

heh, if you dont know how to make nameservers chances are you know nothing about dns in general, and your running xp, thats hilarious, you want to be a web host running WinXP!??!!

Xp isn't very reliable sure you can still host them but it wont be very reliable :) maby install redhat? :D

Well first of all you need 2 IP's, then go to your domain control panel or email your domain support department and ask them to setup NS1.YOURDOMAIN.COM and NS2.YOURDOMAIN.COM with the 2 IP's. Then when you want to point a domain to your server just plug in NS1.YOURDOMAIN.COM, NS2.YOURDOMAIN.COM in as the nameservers.
