Damn its taking forever to get my domain name registered, they promised it within 24 hours.

Who did you go through? Dotster usually registers mine within 10-15 minutes :)

I use directnic and there's no waiting involved. Where did you register it?

I just purchased a package from NTiDesign, dont sure who they use to register the domain name.

Well if you are looking in Whois output to see if the domain is registered then most likely it won't show for up to 24 hours anyway.

Well that's a different bucket of custard. If it's someone else going through a registrar on your behalf then it's going to take a while if they're not too quick. Just be sure to check the whois when it does appear to make sure your name in on the admin and registrant areas of it. :)
