Evolver 04-15-2008, 09:57 PM I've used both Etomite and WebsiteBaker for clients sites and my one, They are both easy to use once setup.

Etomite and websitebaker are the most easy to make template for and easy for end customers too, you can add cmsmadesimple to this list.

smiling_dandelion 04-16-2008, 12:23 PM There is also one called bitrixsoft.com it's not too famous but it has lots of features
L-A-N 04-16-2008, 01:31 PM I prefer Joomla!
Even though it requires quite abit of setup before its working how the client needs it, i think its worth it with the simplicity of adding content and then linking that page to a menu.
But i have been using Joomla! for around 3 years so i know pretty much what needs to be changed to get it working as the client requested, this can be difficult if you have never used i before.
The Joomla! plug in for DreamWeaver makes it extremley easy to make templates for it.
One thing which i find a bit of a problem is the way Joomla! names content. Im not a big fan of the /content/23/4 url. But because you can automatically link to menus it isnt much of a problem for linking. I would just rather have it /pagename/

NPSites 04-16-2008, 06:59 PM Wordpress all the way for cms type systems
Drupal is just a PAIN IN THE @## to get looking nice
Joomla not very easy
Wordpress you are just limited by your own imagination
Templates are very easy to build
It gets down to thisdo you want to spend your time supporting software
or
do you want to spend time building content
If you want to build content then use wordpress

??
What are you talking about? There is nothing hard about making a template in Drupal unless you are trying to change some existing complicated template.
All you do is create your html, insert the regions where you want content and navigation to appear and your off to the races.
NPSites 04-17-2008, 02:41 AM well in 1 word "panels"
but cck and special fields like address
they will drive you insane if you ever have to modify or export that data
I am talking about 5x I have not been able to upgraded to 6x since more then a few plugins I use have not been updated for 6x and may not be from what i saw.
Drupal just seems to me to be a lot of overhead for not much more function when building most sites.
but that is my opinion and other people may find it perfect for their needs
then again i dont code in cfml or asp either
??

Carol_Ferndale 04-19-2008, 11:49 AM Fooshy is supposed to be easy to use. I wrote an article about it recently - and its main selling point is its supposed ease of use.
I was going to include a link for you - but haven't made enough posts yet. Anyway, just google "fooshy" and it comes straight up.
