Omni... the url you give is to a person in India. Long distance charges may be excessive for live support :-) Am I reading that right? $1k a month? for 10 hours a day?

What company is this for?

I thought the live support is online support... pity then it's almost a perfect match - except he knows a lot more than necessary (add experience even better...) :)

Omni,

Thanks for the reference and comments! :)

Universal,

I am talking to a few prospective offers now, and the interest is almost tempting me to start a company like bobcares!

I hope to available full time from October 1st.

In case you are interested please email balaji@valai.net

Indy,

There is always Internet Telephony or IM voice chat to cut long distance call costs.

As for your surprise about 1K / mo well thats how life is out here! :)

I have an overhead of 220 $/mo for my mortgage on a two bedroom 1000 sq ft apartment.. and all the other costs of running a family with 2 kids and all comes to just 300$ / mo living reasonably lavishly!

Just to give you an idea of the value of your money here..

We have a maid servant who comes in twice a day and cleans the dishes, sweeps and mops the floor and does all errands as need be and we pay her a monthly salary of [hold your breath]
10$/mo!

A clerk in a govt bank gets like 300$/mo!

Thanks every one for your time

Cheers
Balaji

10 hours a day is 70hours a week.
$1000US/month = $250US/Week = $3.50/hr.

which is about £2.14/hr GB for me.

Frankly I wouldn't piss on someone for that pay :D

With respect, you would get paid twice that working at Mcdonalds

But I understand the spirit of what you say..

My mistake, if you can get that in india go for it :)

I take it $3.50 buys you more than a burger in India? Like a PC or sommink?

$3.50 can pay my cable TV bill for 2 months! :) or a month's power bill.
