Hello,
I've registered a domain name with a hosting package that I purchased from Kompliit.com
A while ago I cancelled my hosting account and got the refund without the domain fee (of course) and they asked extra 10$ so I will be able to manage my domain (which I paid). Now I've been trying to contact them for a week in order to forward my domain to a certain URL but they are not responding. Till now I sent them 4 tickets and they seem inactive although they posted two days ago a post here in WHT!!
What can I do in this case?

Find out who the Registrant for the domain is. If it is you then you should be able to get it transfered to whoever without any problems.
Never put your domain name and hosting in the same place because if you do move hosting then you can have problems with contacting the old company.

Well if they are the registrant and they will not answer your tickets then there is nothing you can do. Unless you threated them will legal action which could get them moving. If that doesn't work then I would say get another Domain if you have used all the forms of communication.

waseemh,
Do you have the original documentation, emails, invoices etc? If so, Kompliit.com, is not icann registrar, their name is bought through NameCheap, ultimate registrar is eNom.
Is your domain the same?

Let me tell the real side of this story.
We are a reseller of DirectI.
We have NOT received any emails or tickets about your domain. We have only received a live chat convo asking for your domain to be forwarded; in the same convo you changed your mind and asked for name server change. We were ask you to confirm these changes before we did anything, but you LEFT the convo and did not re-enter.
Therefore nothing has been done, because we have not received anything from you regarding this matter.

Hi BoldOutlook,
The poster suggests that the registrant is you rather than him, is that correct? If so, have you received payment for the domain, if not the poster might be telling porkies.?

That's very odd as I've been sending you tickets for more than a week!! I suppose it's a technical problem with your tickets system because I always got instant support but this time I was surprised for this unusual delay.
Few minutes ago I contacted them by email (stupidly I didn't try that before) and they replied to me rapidly... they are handling my ticket. thanks :-)

Great to hear :-) obviously get the registrant information changed to you rather than them to cover yourself in the future.
