Is there anyway to let people register and create there own sites by registering and maybe buying a subdomain, like:

yoursite.mainsite.com

or

mainsite.com/yoursite

WHMCS allows you to provide free subdomains.

Are you running a control panel?

Might want to check on a script like iPanel from ihostdev . com

Most control panels allow this - just insure either the internal Nameservers (like on WHM/cPanel) or your separate Nameservers have that "A" record added

If your using WHM when creating a package just enter the subdomain in the domain feild. so instead of putting mynewdomain.com in put subdomain.mydomain.com

This usually works for me when manually adding accounts.

u can do this using milliscripts script u can make subdomain.domain.com or domain.com/subdomain and user can register for this using username and password and the admin can approve and deny .

hugemarkus, did you ever find a solution for automating account provisioning based upon sub domains? What control panel software are you using and are you looking for a billing solution where you can charge for those sub domains?
