there is a major prob with em both: they are creations of micro$oft

if for some (unkown) reason you choose to go ahead with it, pick win2k

XP Pro can only host one domain name with IIS. If you need to host more than one site then Microsoft thinks you should have to buy something more advanced.

lol, wait until windows .net (2k2)server comes out. atleast you wont have to worry about iis screwing you over in the long run, it has its own place in memory cuting it off from the rest of the system....anyway, im against using windows anything for a server.... better switch to unix or free bsd for its too late and hackers are using you for storage and testing grounds...

How uneducated a comment!!!

Xp pro will (as said above) only allow 1 Domain and 10 users on server at 1 time.. (which means number 11 and up will get unavailable error, until a person on site leaves)

Where Advanced server is not limited by anything.

To get into all the differences of OS's would be near impossible.

Xp would be good for just testing locally then uploading to a real web server. (which will be running 2k AS).

PS- I've had the coaster of 2k AS for years!!! got it for free doin 2k pre-launch rollout at motorola :stickout ;)
