The process is automated and the domain will be transferred within 7 days. You got the domain for half off. So, you must pay full price to transfer domain. There is a 1 year contract for discounted domains. So, we will generate a bill tonight then unlock domain after payment.

I'm sorry. Please read this ticket. You did NOT cancel your account.

You asked us to allow your domain to be transferred. You purchased a domain and a hosting account. You mentioned NOTHING about a hosting account cancellation.

Our terms of service (http://www.proservicehosting.com/tos.html) require that you expressly cancel your hosting account in writing (ticket is OK) at least two (2) days BEFORE your billing cycle.

You are not eligible for a refund, as we do not give refunds.

Thanks for your understanding.

If you want to cancel now (with no refund), you can do so. Please just tell us your account and when you want it cancelled. Otherwise, it will remain active.

Thanks,
James

so CANCEL my account
user: *********

P.S. you act as robots... I wrote that I found new company, and that I'm going to use them, instead of you!!!
so for you that means that I'm still your customer, and you have right to bill from my credit card...

NO pre invoices!

on all other companies that host my servers, I always get announcement 5 days before my billing interval, and they just took money from my card!

I'm very pissed off...

hi

they should send you some kind of invoice reminding you that you will be charged on XX date!

silly way of working! i know this is how theplanet.com work too, and its not the best way to do business.

The Planet generate invoices a few days before the due date and they charge credit card on the due date
There's no email for both new invoice and invoice paid :(
Regarding issue with Proservicehosting, it could be issue with email sending and receiving.
You need to "expressly cancel your hosting account", which is the same for all hosting providers.

I overreacted little bit, but I think that billing without previous announcement for that is not a way of doing business!

@PSH -> sorry for any unpleasant situation, but this is kind of a warning to new customers...
