View Full Version : Looking for an Enom reseller
Darph Bobo 08-20-2002, 03:27 PM who will actually return emails. :(
I have emailed a couple people, but no response so far. Here is what I am looking for:
1. A decent price for domains.
2. A decent setup fee. (none would be good, but I don't mind paying something....)
3. Someone who responds to emails.
4. A company that is willing to help me out (a little) in getting it set up properly. I want to make sure that our relationship is transparent to my customers.
Thanks in advance!
Keith
michaeln 08-20-2002, 03:30 PM Why do you want an enom reseller. Why don't you just become an enom reseller?
Regards,
Michael
dynamitehost 08-20-2002, 03:33 PM Becuase enom charge around 100 times more...
I looked at their reseller pricing guide, and it was like $4000+ to get a reseller account and the ability to sell domains for $6.95!
I was like... do you think im Bill Gates or something?!
michaeln 08-20-2002, 03:37 PM $4000+ Where did you find that figure....
Last time I checked you could become a PDQ Private Label with the ability to sell .com .net and others for $9.95 or you could pay $490 and sell them for cheaper?
dynamitehost 08-20-2002, 03:45 PM yeh, $490 for 8.95$ domains. look again and you will see that it is over $4000 for the ability to sell for $6.95.
And anyway $490 is still 10 times more than if you buy from a reseller.
I think I have proven my point.
Darph Bobo 08-20-2002, 03:50 PM Man....my thread has been hijacked! :D
anyway, dynamite host has a point - it is VERY expensive to become an Enom reseller myself. I just want to be able to supply domains to my customers (since I get that question all the time...) for a reasonable price.
I have seen several threads from Enom resellers wanting to have people sign up with them, but I haven't gotten any replies from them. :(
Ah well.....continue the thread!
:stickout
michaeln 08-20-2002, 03:57 PM I still don't understand why you aren't willing to spring $90 to be a PDQ able to sell at $9.95. That really isn't that bad of a price. And maybe one day if you ever get as rich as Bill Gates you can spring for the other $4,000.00...
regards Michael
michaeln 08-20-2002, 04:00 PM You could always PM this person:

I mean I would be glad to give you a sub-account but I didn't spring that $4k so I would have to charge you a lot more. That is your best bet if you want to go through an enom reseller...

Because for a quarter of that price you can get a reseller account exactly the same and sell domains for $6.95, thus making $3 extra per domain sold.
Makes sense to me and many others.

To bad I am just starting out reselling. Because when my site launches for selling domains/reselling domains i will be giving all resellers a custom api which is being built (1-2months and it will be done) Since there is so much coding and the price i am getting for the custom api. I hope to have news about the site soon but really i am trying to think of a domain that will catch everyones attention. I like godaddy.com. I have to say make sure you pick the right person, do not just jump into it with someone that offers a great price.
Anyway you came the the right place, WHT has a ton of Enom resellers and probaby most have good support.
