I am looking for an open source web mail client for Linux. I am currently running TWIG web mail client but it is buggy and hasn't been updated in years. Is there any standard web mail client in the YUM repositories or anyone that has experience with a good one that is both fast and doesn't look like it was published in 1962?

The Squirrelmail client is by-far the most popular webmail client out there. It is listed in the YUM repository as well. Just yum search squirrel

It is easy to set up and there are tons of plugins for it. It has worked flawlessly in even the most high-end cluster configurations and environments.

When Squirrelmail has already been mentioned and if you are ready to pay for some good features then check http://atmail.com its Squirrelmail skinning with addons, I know you asked for an open source free one, but you'll love to have @mail.

Take a look at DWMail (http://www.dominion-web.com/products/dwmail/)

not a very good pice of software. really lacking the ability to feed missed spams back to the system to relearn.

I love Horde (http://www.horde.org/webmail/), but I also found OpenWebmail (http://openwebmail.org/) very nice.
