I am looking for a shopping cart that is easy to manage a small database and can support google checkout.
Also, since I am new, I would like something easy to start customize.
I looked at zen-cart and it seems very nice but seems kind of complicated.
Is avactis easy to customize?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Zen-Cart is easy to customize. Although the admin interface seems pretty harsh, likewise with osCommerce shopping cart. If you need help with customizing your shopping cart, feel free to contact us and we can help you out.

Zencart is not hard to template but you do have to change quite a few template files to get the look you want.

oscommerce and zencart were kinda hard to customize and get to know.. try avactis demo, looks like having many features.

Make sure the cart has the features you want before investing time in the cart.

I'm about to post a short review of SquirrelCart. You might want to look into their software. I've put it on two simple sites in the last month, and my clients are pleased with the results.
