Well, I'm still looking for a good europe based reseller or dedicated unix and win2k providers to replace DonHost.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

Gotti....do you need the company based in Europe or the actual servers? (or both)

You guys were featured in internet.works last month werent you? We where indeed Gotti. :)

Thanks for the reply. I did see your request in the "requests" forum, but refrained from posting an offer as I was not to sure exactly what you was looking for.

Kindest regards

I have to say i'm quite suprised you're offering usa based servers.

Meanwhile i'm still trying to find a good europe based reseller but no luck.

I have to say i'm quite suprised you're offering usa based servers Many hosts within the UK are using US based servers simply because of cost. We get a lot more features, especially bandwidth, with US based servers then we would in the UK. We can then pass on these saving to our clients. Gotti, try this link: www.whichhosts.com which lists many resellers plans from the UK. (Some will also have US based servers, so its best you email them directly if you interested in any plans there) You come across one that suits your needs.
Meanwhile i'm still trying to find a good europe based reseller but no luck. Does your servers need to be based in Europe? Is that a personal preference or maybe something to do with the material you wish to host?

Regards

Hi Gotti,

Our servers are based exclusively in the UK with rather reasonable links - try a ping from LINX (http://www.linx.net/tools/stats/looking-glass.thtml?run=true&site=LINX-London&query_type=+Trace&address=www.securahosting.com&Submit=Submit&.cgifields=query_type)
Or see our Connectivity page.... http://www.securahosting.com/support/pleasewait.asp

All servers go into the same location as opposed to many UK hosts that put test servers right next to LINX but host clients in a data centre in the middle of nowhere with poor connections.

The data centre is Redbus, Docklands and the bandwidth is Easynet and Claranet (Which is equivalant to Quality not Cogent) by the way.

Not sure if we would fit your needs though as we specialise in Win2k Only (eg No Linux).

We also have a huge emphasis on support and the quality of our support "brains" plus we intend to still be around 12 months down the line, which means higher prices than most UK hosts.

If i can help, please give me a shout; if not, i wish you all the best with your search.

All the Best

Well, I actually emailed your support twice not to receive prices for reseller accounts and never got a reply. You can email me at gotti@afekt.com

Hi Gotti,

My apologies for that, i will investigate this to find out what happened and get back to you. I just looked at our support system and there are definitely no messages from you in there, but i found a couple in the sales system. As i said, i will investigate and get back to you.
