I hear that h-sphere got built in billing system, what about you guys not using h-sphere?

what tools and widgets are a good combination for running a webhost?

Custom P scripts (Perl, Python, and PHP :D) that integrate 2checkout, CPanel, and an offline ACT!2000 database. It took a lot of hard work, but in the long run it has saved tons of time.

I'll have to ditto on the custom P scripts... Only thing left is our support desk and that's about to become custom as well unless I can find a replacement ...

Plesk amd Ensim for control panels
Perldesk for Trouble tickets
Invision for Forum board
PHPManager for SIgnup and billing through 2checkout.
Cognigen for telecom stuff (sms-telecom.com)
Dotster for Domains
DialupUSA for dialup accounts
Sitemeter for keeping track of all those hits... :bawling:

And I manually add accounts. Allows me to insure everything is ok.

Oh and a subscription to Gevalia coffee to keep a wake to provide 24hour support, 7 days a week! :D
