I am planning on buying a 1U server online in US and colocating it either in peak-10.com or nac.net or similar places.

I would like some recommendations for the best way to do it.

I am also open to suggestions on some good multihomed colo providers

Hi Balaji,

I would suggest contacting your preferred colo provider and ask them for help. Explaining that you're in India, that it doesn't make sense to ship parts to you and then for you to ship a completed server back to them. they might be willing to assemble/install your server for $50-150, which is probably considerably cheaper than shipping back and forth from Madras.
