By Germany law, warez isn't allowed to host at servers? (just need to know)

No it is not allowed to let someone host a warez site on your server, if you know about it ;-)

It is part of our business principles that we only allow legal stuff!

kind regards,
Daniel

how about warez linking? You wouldn't host any of the files yourself. Per German Laws, that's not illegal, or, I wasn't able to find anything related to that.

Hi Bjørn-Erik,

thats what my boss said: "we are no legal experts. From our understanding it is even illegal in Germany to link to sites with illegal content. Therefore we do not allow linking too."

For your info: there is a well known german pc magazin (CT') that linked to a software that will delete the copy protection for DVDs. They got plenty of trouble because they linked to a (in Germany) not legal software.

I once bought another hosting company. One of the costumers i got was just links to other sites. Mostly hard core sex.

I send him away.
It is nice to feel good with our conscience.
