Billing software.

The point of billing software is make user accout on a hit of a button, send out welcome email with details, keep a records of there details.. right?

Anyone know of any billing software? that lets say you use 2 checkout for credit card transactions. Is there a software that logs into your 2checkout accout and can tell when they failed a payment and inform you to ask the cilent to update his cc details or cancel his accout.

Just needed to get this clear.

I know with Paypal you can use the IPN system. With 2checkout I think you can pass a confirmation variable back to your server to notify if that payment was complete.
