A google search of: Penrith Plaza,NSW,Australia 2750:
Results 1 - 10 of about 462. Search took 0.15 seconds.
Must be a big shopping center... music stores, sports, Australian Sports Commission, etc.

So... dnsuniverse.net "from Australia" seems to have "servers" on a network in Puerto Rico which trace to OLM's network in good old Milford, CT.

George DeVack, from OLM has been around since Mobey Dick was a minnow. His tennacles reach far and wide on the web, with names like "host4u.net", "olm.net" and who knows how many more. Good company, too.

The odd page at the end of http://www.dnsuniverse.net/ really intrigues me. I looked up the free script behind that "server status" indicator at that page, and even peeked inside the parent directory at: http://www.dnsuniverse.net/template/ to see if there was some kind of clue. Nothing.

ONLINENIC, INC (the registrar), lists the expiration date oddly as: Record expired on 2007/6/22 (time traveller?)

And BASOC & ASSOCIATES, from Puerto Rico:
Expires on..............: Mon, Aug 19, 2002 ...bye bye

If I were desperate enough, I would make a call to Puerto Rico to see if I could find out more. But I'm not.

Hey...thanks for the info but I had already done a thorough investigative search such as yours yesterday. :) YES..I have to admit that this particular address may be offering true anonimity, truely a hard to come by comodity these days with all the 'Sam Spade' and such like search tools these days. WELL if no one is going to own up and say they actually own DNSUNIVERSE i'll just have to go digging up dirt on some other unsuspecting hosting reseller trying to offer TRUE anonimity. ;) :stickout :D
