I am looking for some advice...

A few months ago I started transferring my GTLD domains from Mydomain.com (formerly Dotregistrar) to a UK-based registrar, TotalRegistrations.

Why am I transferring domains away from Mydomain? Because they're pretty awful these days.

Why am I transferring them to TotalRegistrations? Because I specifically wanted a registrar based here in the UK, and there don't seem to be very many UK-based registrars around (plenty of resellers, but very few registrars... and the other registrars I found are all catering to the corporate market and charging corporate market type prices!)

Unfortunately I now have some issues with TotalRegistrations, and am starting to think about moving AGAIN... but where can I go?

I don't mind paying a small premium for dealing with a UK registrar - I know that for many people here price is the main consideration, but for me service has always been more important than price (within reason), and I really do want to use a company in the UK.

Does anyone know of any companies that

- are GTLD registrars (not resellers)
- are based in the UK
- charge an annual fee that is in single figures, in pounds?

Any advice would be much appreciated!

(For the avoidance of doubt, I am looking for registrars for GTLD domains, not .uk ones - I am fully sorted as far as .uk domains are concerned)

there you see all icann accredited registrars from the uk, you see for which extensions they are accredited and when you click on the name you get some more details.

regarding the prices you can visit each site, there are not that many.

Looks like TotalRegistrations may not be such a bad choice after all - I'm a bit narked with them at the moment, but none of the issues are THAT major, so perhaps I should consider staying after all.

Thanks, but the previous two posters have already provided me with a link to UK-based ones, which is what I was looking for.

Does anyone here have any (recent) experience of dealing with any of the ones listed above?
