If you want any more info let me know. Rochen 08-20-2002, 05:07 PM Originally posted by FuzzBuzz u will never find CHEAP in uk You will never get US prices on UK bandwidth. However you can get 'Cheap UK' prices. I think what was meant, he is looking for a cheap option in comparison to main stream UK providers, not in comparison to US providers. mdrussell 08-20-2002, 05:56 PM That's not to say you can't get good bandwidth prices though. £300 / Mbit isn't hard to come by. Matt Toons 08-20-2002, 06:02 PM Hiya Matt, Prices are coming down all the time, although £300 for 1mbit is still competitive, discounts of course are available for larger purchases. drspliff 08-20-2002, 06:12 PM You could try Host Europe (www.dedicated-servers.co.uk), ive been using them for about a year now to host my quake server & hosting biz. the raq4's start at £75 a month, and the basic linux servers at £99 a month (100mbit connection, 10gb b/w free, 2p per mb after that). They also do cheap(ish) co-lo. Not the cheapest for bandwidth but they have a good service. You could also try uk2.net for cheap Cobalt Raq's. |
