Man, what's going on now? This is the second time in 24 hours. I'm thinking twice about them now, even though they have been extremely nice.
Anyone have any recommendations?

I'm thinking twice about them now, even though they have been extremely nice. Anyone have any recommendations? Synthetic 08-19-2002, 05:15 PM Kevin's online: http://www.hostpacket.net/livechat.php you may want to discuss this matter with him. Also, your site seems to be working fine for me. btvillarin 08-19-2002, 05:18 PM Ah, it is. :) I don't know. It just seems that there's been spurts of inaccessibility. A few minutes here, a few minutes there. The little things just start adding up. I think I'll ask him what's going on. I've talked to him a number of times, so I wonder if I'm starting to tick him off. :D archie2 08-19-2002, 05:36 PM don't move out that fast, if they are communicative with you, most of the times they will work on improving the service IMHO. Synthetic 08-19-2002, 05:38 PM I'm also curious as to whether or not they have/will compensate their clients for not living up to their uptime guarantee? btvillarin 08-19-2002, 05:39 PM Nah, I won't. I got a couple weeks to still have a get a refund. I just talked to Kevin, and here's what he basically explained: "Verio line has some problems, so bandwidth route to Time Warner and Cogent line, if your ISP is slow to Time Warner, you're affected. Please check the network status: http://www.rackshack.net/aboutus/networks.asp" Also, I emailed support and haven't gotten a reply in five hours. So, he apoligized and said that they would get to it as soon as they could. I seriously think they're still cool. dk2002 08-19-2002, 05:41 PM It's our provider problem, Verio line has some problems since 2 hours ago http://www.rackshack.net/aboutus/networks.asp so bandwidth route to Time Warner and Cogent, *some* ISP may have problems to connect Time Warner, so laggy or not connectable P.S. our monitor show no downtime since 5:30am btvillarin 08-19-2002, 05:48 PM Thanks for the update dk2002! I guess my ISP might route to Time Warner, but it's an on and off thing. Thanks for keeping us current and staying honest when we ask for the information! CouchTomato 08-20-2002, 04:04 AM Are they down AGAIN? 1st their site is down for a while, and mine has been down for some time now. WTF?
