I have setup a working server and then I downloaded and ran the latest cpanel / whm server install. Everything goes fine until there. I have made asur that apache is installed in /etc/httpd.

Im trying installing apache in /usr/local/apache now but its just anoying me.

Anyone know how to fix such an error?

That install looks broken. /usr/local/apache/etc? Anyway, are you installing this as root user? What options did you select on the install? What OS are version are you using?

Well they probably assume that because it is the norm path in a fresh install. Thanks Robert :)
