What domain zone are you interested in. As rule price is different for each domain name zone on each domain name registrar. One can offer .com for very low prices and other .net etc. Number odа domain name registatds is smaller then number of web hosting companies. And that is the main factor and you can check most of domain name registars (I mean ICCAN acredited ones)

namecheap is great! but godaddy owns 80% of the market, so I think ill go with them :), Besides I never found problems with godaddy.

Thanks,

Like others have stated, depends on what domain extension you're looking for. Need more info to better answer Your question.

Your not looking for a domain. You can only get sub-domains at uk.com, and quite honestly. It's not worth it.

Sorry I don't understand. And why are they not worth it then? The domains I wanted were taken so I broadened my search and found one available with a .uk.com extension.

which registrar provides the cheapest .com domain registration?

crucialnames.com used to sell it at only 6.99 but too bad they folded :(

I get domains for $7.05 (including the 20-cent ICANN fee) at GoDaddy.

Because of things I've seen with friends who went with the cheapest registrar just to save a buck, I recommend staying with bigger, well established registrars.

Best,

Toria

Although they are 3rd level, they are still domains. And if it's worth it to you, it's worth it. Any domain is worth what people are willing to pay for it. You will have the same control over it as any domain name.

Did you register for more than a year? When I tried yesterday, it gave me $9.99 and not $7.05

Any of the accredited CentralNIC resellers will be largely the same level of service for .uk.com registrations/renewals.

You wont find them notably cheaper than that, simply as the "registry" for .uk.com charges around that to its partners - you can go direct for £65+vat :)
