Hello,
I been trying to get a hold of DV2/eServers support for ages and all I get is a lady on the phone who knows nothing about tech support. All she does is save the phone call which she forwards to another person... Don't they have any EMERGENCY 911 numbers like venturesonline??? My server is down and no-one can help????

Actually, no they don't have a phone number for support problems. File a ticket with their support desk.
<edit> I believe eservers does, but DV2 does not </edit>

They usually answer tickets in under 10 minutes. Have you filed one?

we have a support number - occasionally when someone leaves us an overseas number - we dont call it back - because it costs too much. We prefer you to leave a ticket so we can track it.
We also have our service not give out our home phone numbers as seomone called in wanting all our home phone numbers over the weekend. we dont know what this person wanted - but we have to draw the line somewhere.
Please open a ticket on our systems and we will get you taken care of. www.tranxactglobal.com
Thanks!

I was under the impression that your number wasn't for support. My bad. No reason (generally) to phone anyway though, tickets are most often answered within a few minutes from my experience.

They do have a support number for customers....also, I have had sailor himself return calls to me many times....always promptly....and always helpful.....last, their ticket support has always been prompt.....don't know what number you are calling to have the problems.
In addition, do you not have a remote reboot for your server? If so, you can log in and reboot it....or course, I, like an idiot, have a couple of times not had my info with me....but, again, they have promptly done it for me.
I have always found everyone associated with DV2 to be most professional in their dealings with me and it is much appreciated. I wish them the best in pulling through their problems and wish them a long successful future.

i tried using the APC reboot facility already. It was another problem. The server appears to be having another problem which requires someone to give me a status update on what happended... :)
