I am just wondering before i get an enom account how much a custom enom api will cost or if someone has one already made that i can see how much that will cost me. Just let me know price and the timeline.

Thanks

igy,

Are you asking the cost to use the API or to have someone code a website for you using the API?

Thanks

enom already provides a nice set of online forms for their gateway. I have done this type of gateway for enom before and you can use and adopt most of their code.

heddesheimer,

If it's the sample code that I think you're taking about (the Registry Rocket sample) that's not really useful (at least to me). It setups all the registrations within my reseller account and the creates a domain password for each domain.

I would much prefer to have each user setup with their own retail account. This lets them manage all of their domains with a single user-id and password.

If you know of samples/companies who can do this, I'd be interested also.

I remember they had a set of forms where the user could set up their own username/password accounts.

I did it for a hosting company some time ago. I think enom has a download link in the reseller section with all these php scripts. I just had to insert the credit card processing into the right place.

heddesheimer,

I have not been able to find any samples like that. The only one that I can find (eNom supplied) is the registry rocket like interface, where there is a password on the domain and no retail account.

If you have a sample like that, I'd be interested :D

Hey Frank,

We've both been struggling with that issue amongst others,
today I discovered that enom has released new api documentation.

I just downloaded it and am getting ready to check it out.

It is available in the reseller menu on enom now.

OMG :D 226 pages of doc! Now if we can only get them to update the sample code.

igy,
Do you care to share who you found to code the API for you. I am looking for someone to make mine as well.
Thanks
Trent
