I have a problem with Namesecure for a charity website with a .org domain.
We asked 3 times for the code to transfer away the domain and they gave us not working codes.
After that they locked the domain.

Name Secure locked the domain and it's impossible to unlock it. It's like that because they say it's expired and we have to pay 100 euro to unlock it.

Problem is that the exiration date is in end of may and not now!
They are probabily doing in this way because they do not want us to leave.
What I can do?

As long the whois email address under you, you should not have problem moving out...

move to reliable one.... for me i like domaincentral.com cheap and no problem with it.

as mentioned above it is impossible to transfer from namesecure for two reasons:
1)Namesecure gives me invalid transfer codes: tried 3 times
2)After attempting to get codes namesecure put the domain as expired (eve if it is not) and it's impossible to do anything or get any code for transfer.

In this second case namesecure ask for 100 $ to renew the expired domain which really is NOT expiring (my domainexpires in july ans now march they say it's expiring).
THey are acting illegaly not to make us transfer. What I can do?
Plus this is a charity .org domain

Beware NameSecure acting ILLEGALLY agains our CHARITY organization domain!
Namesecure is acting illegally against our domain personecomenoi.org to not make us transfer the domain from them. It gives wrong transfer codes and after two attempts blocks any further attempt and put the domain has expiring eve n if it is not!!
Cannot obtain any answer from support, impossible to contact them!
What we can do? Is there any government organization we can contact to stop this people at namesecure? please help :angry:

Contact enom.com immediately, namesecure appears to be a reseller there.
They will see your whois information and give you the correct transfer code.

I believe NameSecure.com is an ICANN registrar not an Enom reseller.

Bizarre, Namesecure.com is registered at Dotster, but is the 'discount arm' of NetworkSolutions, and the domain above is registered at Enom.

I do not understand clearly who I can contact but we're in touch with other child charity organizations around the world. I can ask some local organization to go personally in their offices , if I can get an address. Any suggestion is welcome
