PogiWeb 03-25-2008, 03:46 PM You will need to take this up with your provider. You can also check if the license is active by www.verify.cpanel.net and type in the IP address for your account. It could be a simple issue of just needing to restart your license in SSH. vpster 03-25-2008, 08:40 PM It could be possible that your provider has not paid their fees so the license got deactivated. marcbarak 03-25-2008, 08:57 PM You can check to see if it is valid with http://verify.cpanel.net/?ip=__.__.__.__ If it is not, contact your provider If it is, then a common fix is to root access through SSH (Shell) and run the following command /usr/local/cpanel/cpkeyclt That will restart the license Good luck Alex 03-25-2008, 09:10 PM I've moved this to Tech / Security, since I'm not sure where it belongs (whether you have a VPS, dedicated server, etc). Alex dotcomUNDERGROUND 03-26-2008, 12:27 PM Have you changed your hostname? Follow what marcbarak said. fredie108 03-26-2008, 04:52 PM No, it was my IP Address that was changed. Thanks all for your help. linux-tech 03-26-2008, 06:21 PM If your IP has changed, you'll need to have your provider re-license that ip. WHM/Cpanel are licensed on an IP basis IIRC. The base ip of the server is the one that is chacked in the licensing system. |
