Maybe Google can take consideration to it. And if they buy the site... Lol. incrediblehelp 03-25-2008, 09:49 AM Sure they monitor it, but to say that if one listing gets clicked more than another would help your ranking you would be wrong. If that were true then I am sure you will see a lot of spammers trying to improve their results in this manner. Cybersoldier69 03-25-2008, 11:45 AM umm i always thought the main key to optimise search engine results was the "keywords" apparantly google and all the other top search engines go by that im not sure really but i use some of the smaller free ses site to submit my sites and i seam to get pretty good results straight away Caro Pack 04-01-2008, 11:39 AM do you have any recommendations of seminars that are good for SEO. Thanks, Adam Caro Pack 04-01-2008, 11:41 AM what is the best way to test a site's SEO power? ie. www.cmeac.net The Stealthy One 04-02-2008, 02:19 PM I don't think so, as Google has no way of really knowing how many visitors a site gets (except those using Google Analytics!). incrediblehelp 04-02-2008, 02:33 PM I don't think so, as Google has no way of really knowing how many visitors a site gets (except those using Google Analytics!). Sure they do. They track clicks off their page to your pages. That is the traffic that we are talking about in this thread. The Stealthy One 04-02-2008, 02:53 PM Oh, sorry. I thought the OP meant all traffic to a site. My bad. coloheart 04-12-2008, 08:55 AM I think they do. Hits do play a role. [UTB]HJ 04-12-2008, 01:16 PM yes more visits means more indexes in google proportional to higer ranks Feydakin 04-12-2008, 04:24 PM Except, if this were a true ranking factor then it would be almost impossible to unseat a #1 site since they get the most clicks.. And then you have sites that rank well, but get the majority of their traffic from sources other than Google.. It may be tracked, but they don't have analytics installed on all websites yet.. incrediblehelp 04-13-2008, 11:10 AM Except, if this were a true ranking factor then it would be almost impossible to unseat a #1 site since they get the most clicks. Exactly!;) ;) |
