The promotion is for both RAM and HDD. Most of our servers come with 2GB of ram and 1 250GB HDD by default, which means you would be able to upgrade to 4GB of ram, 2 x 250GB HDD, then input the promo code on the final page to waive the fee.

If I've already bought one server some time ago (when you did same promo) via one of your resellers and haven't got this 1GB Lockbox... So this means that they took that for themselves or you've just recently started to offer them?

The Lockbox has been around since the the beginning of SoftLayer. It may not something your reseller offers, however.
