I was hoping someone from the UK could point me in the right direction to find a decent and reputable hardware provider for 1U systems. I don't want to pay more than about £400 for a bare bones system (case + CPU + MoBo). Any help would be appreciated.

If you don't know any UK places could you point me to some US places that will happily ship overseas?

SCAN are good in the uk.

A good 1U case would run you about £ 180 + VAT....doesnt leave much scope for the mobo / cpu!

Decent tyan server boards are over £ 400, have you had a look at eBay? Usually a bargain or 2 to be picked up over there!
