I'm just wondering why WHT doesn't do a simple 301 Redirect from index.php to just www.webhostingtalk.com

The Logo links to just the .com but the Home/Forum link directly underneath goes to the index.php version. It's not real good for link consensus, and as you can see the domain is PR6 and the index.php is PR5 creating "duplicate" homepages.

The http/www versions are taken care of with a redirect, why not add the index.php in there as well and get the authority all going to the one URL?
