what is the best way to embed a video, and how?
I am looking to embed mostly .flv files as they take much less space than wmv and avi. thanks

I use the market leader... Camtasia studio ( http://techsmith.com ).
How? Drop the video in and click a couple of buttons... fairly easy... read the instructions and you will figure it out.

Flash 8 and CS3 come with some player skins and with Video Encoder. Encode your videos by dropping them into the encoder interface and editing your output settings.
Once you have your FLV, you can use wizards in Flash to skin your FLV with templates provided by Adobe, and you can customize these later or even create your own based on the markup already presented within them.
The whole process is pretty easy. A Flash (swf file) is the embedding agent for the FLV, and the swf file itself is embedded into the Web site.

u can use flash they come with their own skins, if u dnt like them there is automated stuff where u upload the video and it converts it, these scripts u can google them.
