Is namecheap reseller of enom?
I check the whois of my domain registered with namecheap and it shows ...
Registrar: ENOM, INC.
Whois Server: whois.enom.com

Haha, good question, I'm wondering about it too. However, namecheap is ICANN accredited. Could it be before they got ICANN accreditation, they were a reseller of Enom?

I dont think they have migrated the old domains under Enom reseller to accredited Namecheap. I suppose it will have to be a regular transfer from one registrar to another.
They are a reseller of enom. They got there ICANN accreditation a while back but I think they didn't started to register domains yet through the direct link. They must develop there registry connections fist and then pass all the certifications (and there are some registries which make those to be quite painful...).

NameChap is not bad. My only inconvenience instead of being able to transfer credit from my NC account to another NC member I actually need to purchase the domain/s under my account and tehn push to the other member. They confirmed that their system is capable of proceeding as I wanted but they preffer not to to avoid billing misunderstandings. Kind of strange but anyway. Other than this they alright. Actually they much better then other nonsens eproviders.

Not sure, but perhaps the domains will reflect Namecheap as the registrar when they are renewed?
Vito
The only way they can do it is while renewing, they still have to make a transfer and you as the domain admin has to confirm the transfer, otherwise they will get into trouble with ICANN.

Correct. Everything will be seamless.
I thought I read somewhere that new registrations were now being registered under their own registrar. But I'm not sure how they could practically do this with existing accounts. So. Maybe it works like that for new accounts only. Maybe Richard could clarify.
It's not a problem to manage for one client account resold and direct accredited domains, you can implement that quite easily (I did it once for a registrar).
