Ok, I am finally setting up a reseller site and am considering adding domain name registration as a low-volume reseller. I will be looking at alternatives but am currently looking at registerfly.com.
They have four plans. I am not experienced enough to be able to read between the lines of the short descriptions and will have to stretch to figure it all out.
The plans I am looking at are entitled:
1. Name Begin Solution ("We do all the billing, customer support and system maintenance")
2. Non-branded Solution ("Some of our partners use this implementation within frames or popup windows.")
3. Simple Co-Brand Solution ("You specify the header and footer HTML elements..")
4. Complete Co-Brand Solution ("...4 to 10 weeks to complete..")
I am not nearly so concerned about who's name shows up on the registration pages as I am about the operational differences, e.g. tech support, billing. I am tempted to overlook number 4 altogether.
Anyone already waded through this. I don't expect you to do my research but if you already have an opinion I would love to hear it.
