I need a cpanel/whm/fantastico/rvskin license for my server

Keep in mind that cPanel/WHM is a single product. Fantastico and RVSkin are third party products produced by 2 separate companies.

As for cPanel/WHM, inquire with your data center to see if they offer cPanel/WHM licenses as they would likely offer you the best price for such licensing. Otherwise there's always cPanel, Inc as well as cPanel distributors that offer cPanel/WHM licensing.

Well awknet only offers basic cpanel license for $35 they had no idea if that included whm (would it?)

I went to all the distributors from cpanel, and they were all priced the same $43 for cpanel/whm and $5 for fantastico

If any one knows of any cheaper distributors that would be nice.

I'm guessing you actually need an external license. Touch support does them, as does buycpanel.com, fantastico is an extra fiver.

Your normally best buying them from the DC as they are cheaper.

DC's are cheaper as they buy more, cPanel and WHM are named differently but essentially one is the front end the other the backend so they both come together when you obtain a license.

Your best going with your datacenter for this, all cPanel licenses WILL include WHM. WHM is what is required for root access to the control panel, aswell as reseller. When said just "cPanel" and not "cPanel + WHM" This does confuse quite alot of people.

Your best to get the license from there, then you can acquire an fantastico license for $5 at buycpanel.com


If you preffer to go external licensing aswell, I've found buycpanel to be the best and cheapest around.

Thanks, I think ideally I would like to buy an owned license, but it seems expensive for updates etc in future years, that you might as well just go monthly.
