My god have the mods went out of there minds or some thing here..
Last night I posted a message in Related Offers and Requests and did not mean to I was just reading some post and then hit post for our ad for the week.
Well then i saw i did it in the wrong place and emailed Chicken and xtstrike to ask them to just move it to the right forum and I was sorry did not mean to do it.
Well i get today go to see if they moved the post and my account has been disabled and the post deleted..
This was under my user MatrixRS for my other co. MatrixReseller.com.
So could a MOD tell me why this account was disabled and what i did wrong.
As far as I know I did not do any thing wrong.

Could it be that you are only allowed one user account as per the forum rules?

Where does it say that? I never saw you could only have one user.

From the forum rules page,
http://www.webhostingtalk.com/misc.php?s=&action=forum-rules
A maximum of one account per person, regardless of how many companies you represent.

(note: Vortech edited his post)
It is a rule, but it is above the list of rules you quoted.
Read the second paragraph.

Well that rule kind of sucks.. Hey mods can I give that account to some one else in the co. then?
I never saw that rule sorry.. I just like the name but i will only post under Vortech now that I know its rule.

Well, you may not like it, but it is necessary.
Just imagine one person posting under several aliases, posting false/made-up discussions, etc...

Yea i never did that.. :( I only used it to help keep my mail and post to the right co. I post under this name 99% of the time.. I never used to say hey Vortech rules the world or any thing.. LOL
Yea it does kind of make sense to have the rule but if the person that has more then one never does any thing really wrong with the name what is the harm if they don't?
EDIT: I guess they will delete this one next.. :(

You are Vortech?? (confused....)
I suppose you could ask moderator for permission. At the very least, you should also display in your signature that you also post under other usernames.

OK, so Vortech == RapidColo. (or not...still a bit confused)
Assuming you are both the same person, you can see how this is very confusing. I would imagine the same for the moderator as well. (keeping track of who to ban, who used up the 5 days limit....)
Again, you could ask for special permission, but you are adding workload to the moderators. (and to simple minds like myself....:))

Nope same person.. Like i said i never use the others i logged in to that one to make sure it still worked and just posted under it.
If i would of seen it was a rule i would of gave the names to some one else witch i will do now or just register a new name for some one else here under that co.
If this is the only rule I missed mods then i am very sorry and I will not post under them names but I would like to give them to some one else here in the CO. to use if you don't mind. I will even let you change the email and pass if you want or i will do it and send it to them..
Vortech, I'm happy to let you give the other usernames to other members of your staff, but we'll need to clarify this issue via e-mail. Please e-mail me directly (bc@webhostingtalk.com)
Thank you.
