Hey all,

Is there a site out there kind of like eLance for graphics design or logo design with the major difference being work is done upfront? I find I really enjoy entering contests here in the offers and requests forum (plus it's a good way to build my portfolio) but there just aren't enough logo design contests to satisfy my thirst. I've considered joining eLance, but I like the system here of designing and then chosing better...

eLance, is the best for work. I would suggest you go there, I've used them 3 times to have projects done for me.

As a buyer, how much did feedback/amount earned buy the bidders affect who you decided to have do your work? One concern I have with eLance is that it seems like it would be tough to "get your foot in the door" so to say...

They continually have barters, contests, etc. going on there?

Ah, SitePoint... I check here, graphic-forums and yaxay for contests, but since I had never registered at SitePoint, their bater forums were invisible to me - didn't even know there were any! Thanks for the tip - looks very active.
