I just recently purchased a domain for a client of mine that has a Pictures to DVD business. She wants to attract more potential customers.. reason why the new domain/new means of advertising etc...

I installed CubeCart and have been playing around with it. I am curious if anyone else has used this and/or does use this software? Here is what I think after 2 days:

#1 SEO Mod
----------
I installed an SEO Mod from the CubeCart Mods/Skins forum. Its a pretty good mod, I must admit. You can SEOize all the categories and products with their own Meta TITLE/Keyword/Desc. I feel this is a good way of how I can create more indexed webpages within the on-line store.

#2 Content Pages
----------------
Its very easy to create content pages, which I feel is very important when dealing with SEO. With using the SEO Mod you can easily edit any content page's title/keyword/desc etc...

#2 Mod_rewrite Mod
------------------
Another good mod that I just recently installed this morning. Nore more www.blah-store.com/store/index.php?blahblah-store1123

It becomes www.blah-store.com/blahproduct-blahcatgory-miscinfo

I'm still playing around with it.. but any comments, suggestions, opinions?

I cant get to the URLs posted, but watch out for:

1. Duplicate content with CMS like these. Meaning you dont want 3-4 URLs all showing the same page.

2. Also make sure each page (especially product level pages) are not boiler-platesque and will contain very different content.

3. Make sure that the niternal navigation is controllable. So you can place the keywords in the anchor text you want.

4. See if their are additional SEO plugins avialable that you can install.
