How about giving us some information?

Have you contacted register.com yet? Who was the original registrar? Anything happened before this "stealing"?

Since you registered the domain through them first, have you tried logging into the account and just change all the contact info to yourself?

Could be that they (somehow) lost your contact info, so they could only use their own to display.

How long has it been since you contacted technical support? (You did contact support before posting on a public forum, right?)

2 hours only?

Don't you think you should at least wait 24 hours before posting something like "What on earth are they doing!?" and "Stolen"?

I said it before (and got flamed) register.com picks up their client's expired domans the only other registrar to do this is Netsol/VeriSin

Sorry to say this - but your domains expired on Mon, Jun 03, 2002 - Register.com thought it was nice and picked it up. They recive many emails from webmasters requesting their domains back and I have yet to see them return a single one. Good luck with their support, I hope they prove me wrong.

You lost them for good. Did you pay your renewal prior to the expiration dates. Also there is a new Icann.org rule...a domain owner has within 60 days of the end of an expiration period to reclaim their domain. When did you pick sitebond.com up? And did you get notification on deadliest.info rights to another owner?

register.com changes the information to their contact information when a chargeback comes from the credit used on that domain, so just make sure you did not complain to your bank saying i did not buy from register.com

or maybe used fake CC to buy these domains?

Hmmm very interesting. The Deadliest.info shows some weird Registrant info, e.g. city is Rotterdam (The Netherlands) but the country is Nigeria (NG) - it seems the records were phony.

Hello? Where did you come up with this one?

There has been a proposal adopted by the ICANN board for a domain redemption grace period that will allow a domain owner 30 days to renew their domain after it expires. It is not yet in effect, and will take many months of negotiations with the various registries before it goes into effect.

This redemption grace period is also allowed to be a "fee recovery" process, so it's likely it will not be free. Who will determine what fees are reasonable for a prior owner to recovery an expired domain? Is this a $30 fee? A $20 fee? A $10 fee? It has not yet been determinedd now this will work - however, it is better than the current no-policy that exists today, where the registrar pays $6 to the registry when your domain expires, and they then have 45 days to decide to keep it or drop it and get their money back. Some simply choose to keep the domain - since they paid the renewal already...

If you have links to more recent information than the ICANN board meeting in June on this one, I'd be interested in seeing them.

NG is right above NL on the selection list. Probably Just clicked the wrong one

that wouldn't be too bad of a change,

I know many people who knew they lost their domain name after the site went down LOL.

then they went to renew it.
