I've recently been scammed by someone and thought I'd post here to warn others. This guy goes by the name of Larry Armstead and I know that he calls himself:
i3dmedia,
Rack Easy
Logic Host
I did some coding work for him and according to him it was needed pretty quick. I completed it within the time specified and asked for payment.
First he said he'd pay by Paypal but his account was broken. Then he said he'd pay by c/c but his Mastercard didn't have the security code. Then nothing.... no reply to emails or anything. Quite strange for such an urgent job!
This job was <$100 so its not a major pain but I wouldn't want to see anyone else scammed by this guy for possibly more money.
If anyone knows this guy or he reads this and there is an innocent explanation then please get in touch - I doubt this is an innocent mistake though as none of the evidence looks that way :(
Thanks,

I've heard of his business practices before.
Sorry you found out the hard way. But maybe your warning will help others.

I've just done a little digging and it seems this guy has the domains logichost.com and rackeasy.com.
SoftWareRevue: I'd be grateful if you could point me in the direction of other scams he's pulled off. Could you PM me with any info you have? Thanks :)

Depends. Are you sure his name couldn't have been Larron?

Well he gave me Larry Armstead but in the whois of his domains, the name Brandon Armstead is listed. I'm sure Larron could be another alias :)

Brandon and Larron are brothers.
Some fascinating reading in this forum about them. ;)

if they rip so many people off....
perhaps not a bad idea to consider a Class Action Law Suit?

Sorry that this has happened to you.
Once again, I think it'd be a good idea to ask for full payment, or a percentage of the total amount upfront, before doing any labor. And have both parties sign a contract, outlining all the legal details.
