Alright, I'm a total beginner to flash and really want to learn it.

I was wondering what is the best and easiest programme to use for a beginner to make flash?

And is their any flash tutorials out there!?

Swish is easy and looks good - the only minus = all things look same - so if you see a swish intro on a website you will know it's swish...

Better try Macromedia Flash and visit some info and helpsites to download sourcecode and to learn it.

Swish is a piece of cake, you won't get any smarter by using it.

Swish is fine for what it is, but learning to use it won't mean you know how to use Flash -- and even though its capabilities have grown in the latest versions, you still can't do nearly with it what you can with Flash.

So beginner or not, if you want to "make flash" you should use Flash.

There are plenty of tutorials available. I'd recommend two places for them:

Flashkit: http://www.flashkit.com/tutorials/
Macromedia: http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/productinfo/tutorials/

Swish is great if you just want to make some easy animations. Not ALL Swish looks the same, if you're creative you can do a lot more with it than the basic stuff -- only those who rely on the basic functions of Swish to do all the work create animations that are easily identified as Swish.

However, as was stated above, using Swish will teach you very little about programming Flash.

Ehm, flash perhaps?
If you want to do flash just use flash and leave those other stupid thingies alone.

I liked Swift 3D. It came with a pdf manual which I printed out (like 200 pages), but after I read it everything was a breeze :)

Flash MX includes a nice tutorial that will teach you the basics.

Ok if you use swish do not go into doing professional flash design since you cant do much backend work or forms, etc. Also if you go from swish to flash u will be not much better in flash. Especially since in swish to do a effect, you gotta just click a button. But i flash you gotta make stuff movie clips and tween them. Its much different then swish. I can promise you that. If you wanna learn flash do it the right way, FLASH MX!
