hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone knew of live chat solutions (like phplive, liveperson, etc) that allows operators to log into the service through their blackberries, either a specific BB app that gets installed, or some other functionality like that.

Thanks for any advice you guys might be able to give.

Can't you just go to the actual URL of the site on your blackberry, then login using your normal details?

yah probably, but I figured an IM-like client on the BB (like jivetalk) would be more efficient

also, the BB would need to permanently remain on that webpage if doing it your way, browsing anywhere else obviously would disrupt the login

I know of one setup that interfaces to Jabber... However I am not sure if there is a Jabber app for blackberries...

so far I haven't had any luck through contacting some of the "big ones" - I'm surprised I'm the only one who would like to use a mobile for site support chat.

You aren't the only one... When we aren't so swamped and can actually use LiveChat i use ChatStat... I told Nick (chatstat owner) that he needs to get a mobile client... no word about it yet though!

You might contact Steve Parker over at Who's On (http://www.whoson.com/) - I think he might have something in the works. (Sorry I remember some company fully supporting it and his name is the only one that comes to mind right now).
